Not all who wander are lost.

Some find their way into fading places, the cities and towns, houses and buildings, which stand on the crux of juxtaposing realities. The faded sign people drive past a million times without reading, the vacant house on the edge of town that somehow is never sold or torn down, the jumble shop on Main Street with dusty windowsills littered with the corpses of dried flies. The places that a thinking person, an average person, barely notices. The kind of places that draw the curious, the tormented, the blessed and the damned. Where the line between good and evil is not so sharply defined and black and white meld into a swirling shade of gray. Life and death mean everything or nothing and it all hangs on a single roll of dice, a hand of cards, a word spoken or left unsaid.
